1.3 You can order services/products for delivery in Portugal via our website. These terms and conditions will apply to your order placed by any mechanism. This website is available to the end consumer for purchasing our products/services.

Terms and Conditions

2.1 The terms and conditions detailed below are without prejudice to your statutory rights.

2.2 The way in which we process and protect your data is explained both in these terms and conditions and is never provided to third parties.

3.1 All prices include VAT at the legal rate applicable in Portugal, where applicable and assuming that the buyer is the final consumer. All prices are in Euros (€ EUR).

3.2 The total amount of your order, including VAT and shipping costs, will be displayed on your order confirmation screen. The price displayed is the amount in euros you will have to pay.

3.3 The minimum order amount is €1.00.

3.4 The prices of the products and our delivery costs will be those indicated on our website at the time of placing the order (subject to revision for errors).

3.5 The prices of our products and our delivery costs are subject to change at any time. Any changes made to product prices and delivery costs after the Dispatch Confirmation has been issued will not affect the order placed in the meantime. The Shipping Confirmation is explained in more detail in paragraph 5.1 below.

3.6 Our website contains a large number of products and it is possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our website are incorrectly priced. We regularly check prices as part of our shipping procedure so that if the price of the product is lower than the one shown, we will charge the lower amount at the time of shipment. If the price of the product is higher than that shown on our website, we may, at our discretion, contact you for instructions before sending the product or reject your order, notifying you of such rejection.

3.7 We are under no obligation to supply you with the product at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you the Dispatch Confirmation (see 5.1 below), if the error is obvious and unambiguous and can easily be identified by you as an error.

Ordering and payment

4.1 You can order our products online using our website

4.2 We will always try to deliver all the products you have ordered. In the unlikely event that any of the products are out of stock, we will inform you of this and hold the order until the out-of-stock product is available again. We will not deliver any part of your order until all the items you have ordered are available. This may affect the normal shipping time for orders.

4.3 Although we undertake to make every effort to ensure that we stock all the items shown in our online catalog, we cannot guarantee availability.

4.4 When you order online, as soon as we receive your order we will automatically send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order details (“Confirmation E-mail”). This Confirmation E-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when placing your order and does not guarantee the availability or acceptance of the offer.

4.5 To ensure that your order is processed as quickly as possible, we need you to provide us with your full and correct address, including a zip code for Portugal, a contact telephone number and your e-mail address and VAT number. If you enter incorrect information, your order will be held until the correct information is provided.

4.6 Your order will only be processed if all the necessary payment details have been provided.

4.7 We use an independent payment service provider to process payments. In the last step of the order process you will be transferred to the website of our payment service provider to complete the payment. You can use any of the payment methods available on our service provider’s website when your order is transferred to this page. If you choose to pay by bank transfer or Mutibanco payment, you must use the payment details and follow the instructions provided when finalizing your order.

4.8 Receipt of payment does not in itself signify acceptance of your order, nor does it bind us contractually with you. Paragraph 5 of these terms defines the form of binding contracts entered into between the parties in relation to any order.

4.9 All orders will be checked with the respective payment service provider before dispatch, so please ensure that the details you have provided are correct. We cannot be held responsible for delays in orders as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details.

How a contract is concluded between you and us

5.1 Using our website:

5.1.1 After placing an order through our website, you will receive a Confirmation E-mail. This does not indicate that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. All orders require our acceptance.

5.1.2 Orders will only be accepted by us when the products ordered are dispatched. We will confirm this acceptance by sending you an e-mail in which we indicate that your order has been dispatched (“Dispatch Confirmation”).

5.1.3 The contract is considered concluded when the Dispatch Confirmation is sent, unless we notify you that we do not accept your order or if you cancel it.


6.1 Under normal circumstances, your order will be delivered on the date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no date is given for delivery, within 30 days of the date of issue of the Dispatch Confirmation, except in exceptional cases. If there are reasons for the delay in delivery, we will try to contact you.

6.2 We regret that we cannot accept orders for delivery to PO boxes, or from people ordering to an address containing a PO box. There may occasionally be other types of addresses to which we cannot deliver.

6.3 Without prejudice to paragraph 6.2 above, deliveries will be made to the address that has been indicated. From the moment of delivery, the risk on the products passes to you. If you have selected a business address, the product is deemed to have been delivered to the recipient when it is handed in at the business address.

6.4 For deliveries to Portugal in the Greater Lisbon area, the €7 charge will not be applied to orders up to the maximum weight allowed per order, as set out in paragraph 6.2 above. No deliveries will be made on Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays in Portugal.

6.5 For the area outside Greater Lisbon, but within mainland Portugal, and for orders over €60, the €7 shipping charge will also not apply.

6.6 For the islands of Madeira and the Azores, the minimum order is 6 bottles at a cost of 7.5€ per bottle and from 12 bottles onwards, shipping costs 4€ per bottle.

Order cancellation/returns policy

7.1 Please contact us using the contact details on our website before returning any order.

7.2 We regret that returns are not exempt from shipping costs, except where the return is due to a defect in the order.

7.3 You have the right to cancel your order at any time regardless of the justification, in accordance with the conditions of paragraphs 7.4, 7.5 and 7.6 below, within the time periods defined in the table below, always from the date of delivery, provided that the contents of the order are not perishable, are in the original packaging and properly sealed:

7.4 An order must be canceled as follows:

7.4.1 Contact our telephone number as appropriate in accordance with paragraph 7.1 above – you may also be asked to confirm cancellation in writing to comply with legal requirements;

7.4.2 Return the products immediately to the address given to you when you contacted the Helpline. Please return the order with the delivery note and keep your receipt or proof of dispatch;

7.4.3 Return the products in the condition in which you received them, at your own risk;

7.4.4 Protect the products while they are in your possession, in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

7.5 In the event of exercising the right to cancel, in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 7.3 and 7.4:

7.5.1 You will receive a full refund of the price paid for the products (excluding the costs associated with the return); and

7.5.2 We will refund your money by crediting the same payment method you used to pay for the products, within 30 days of receiving the returned products. Refunds will be made in Euros (€ EUR).

7.6 We will not accept the cancellation or return of purchases that have been used or opened, except in the case of a product defect.

Personal Data and Security

8.1 We use payment services provided by an independent payment service provider (“PSP”) to process payments related to product orders received either through our Portugal website or through our Portugal Helpline.

8.2 When you place an order via our website, the last step in the order process is for your order details to be forwarded to our designated PSP. This will of course result from the details that will be shown to you in the internet browser you use during the ordering process. The PSP will ask you to select one of the payment methods available, and to enter the necessary data according to the payment method selected (for example, using a credit card will ask for your name and address, credit card number, card expiry date and the security digits on the back of your card) so that the payment can be processed.

8.3 When using the PSP website to enter payment details, you acknowledge that you are using the website of a third party and agree to do so in accordance with the terms and conditions and privacy policy of that website. Your agreement to this use is a condition of being able to order products via our website.

8.4 This payment service provider facilitates the payment you make to us using the payment method you selected during the ordering process. Both we and PSP will collect certain personal data concerning you during the ordering process. We will use this personal data in order to facilitate your order and to fulfill any contract that has been entered into between you and us as a result of the order you have placed. By placing an order, you consent to us, as well as PSP, using your personal data for these purposes.

8.5 To ensure that the payment method you have selected is not being used without your consent, we and/or the PSP may validate the name, address and other personal information provided by you during the ordering process against appropriate third-party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to such checks taking place.

8.6 We will keep certain details about your order, which will include some of your personal data, for a reasonable period of time after you have placed your order.
